Foot & ankle pain

The foot is made up of 26 bones, more than 30 small joints (where bones meet) and 19 muscles, numerous tendons, ligaments & nerves. This complex biomechanics keep all these parts in the right position with working together Problems in the feet and ankles are often, since your feet are attached to the ankle sometimes symptoms and treatments are interrelated, as with the Achilles.

Foot with high arch is generally less flexible and foot with lower arch tends to be more flexible. Although, they aren’t necessarily a problem but they can increase your chances of developing other foot problems.

Ankle pain can be associated with swelling, stiffness, redness and warmth in the involved area. The pain is often described as an intense dull ache that occurs upon weight bearing and ankle motion.
