Repetitive strain injuries are caused by repetitive movement causing muscular pains or problems with nerves, ligaments or joints. Often work related, the incidence of RSI has increased dramatically with the use of desktops or laptops, which needs only a limited range of movement. Other groups of working people can also be affected like – typists, musicians, shop staff and factory workers.

This may include stretching exercises, mobilization or electrotherapy, such as ultrasound, to speed up the treatment process.
